I am replacing the center pins on my leaf springs, as well as cleaning them up for paint, and the wear pads that go between the springs are worn and falling apart. Does anyone make replacements for these, should I not worry about it? I have also heard of putting graphite or grease between the springs to decrease friction. Has anyone else heard about this? Where would I get the graphite from? Can I use any type of grease?

OEM Springs? Here are a couple links for Skyjacker teflon spring pads:
Skyjacker Suspensions IN200C - Skyjacker Teflon® Replacement Leaf Spring Wear Pads - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Skyjacker Teflon Wear Pads - www.jackit.com - The Suspension Experts
but these fit into holes in the Skyjacker springs. I'm not sure where to get the same for oem springs. Maybe these would work anyway. You could use grease or graphite but that would come out and you would have metal to metal again. Graphite is a dry powdery lubrication. If you have nothing but metal to metal rubbing it probably won't hurt anything. Maybe it will squeak a little but usually those pads come out without the driver ever knowing it.
