Leaf spring shackle questions

My buddy has some really crappy bent up shackles and he was wondering what kind of shackles he should go with. He doesn't have much money and he wants something stronger than OEM. What should he go with?

pretty much any good shackle will cost around $100 or less for each end. I bought some Currie towing shackles for my CJ7 , and I really like the quality.

IMO they are all pretty much the same. Just stay as close to stock lenght as you can, to avoid any isues down the road.
