I have a leak at my pitman shaft seal. I have an AGR box. Problem is I don't know which box I have. Is there a way to tell? I am putting a call in tomorrow to AGR but I figured they would want the model # or something. Also is this a tough job to handle? I have a pitman arm puller and a original FSM although the AGR box is different from the oem box so not sure the FSM will help.

I have a superbox 1. I think. I picked up a oem pitman shaft seal kit from O results and I am going to see if I can reseal it myself. I guess these use stock seals?

Good luck!
Keep us posted.
FWIW: When my OEM box started leaking. I put Lucas Powder Steering Stop Leak in. Stopped leak'n in about 100 miles and hasn't leaked since.
LG

Alright LG. It was successful! The stock seals worked but AGE had some weird spacer after the snap ring I had to reuse. The inner seal had fallen apart. I guess my outer seal was already shot and the inner finally let go.

AGR. Stupid autocorrect.

Best of news! :chug:
