Leaking steering box

My steering box leaking power steering fuild pretty heavily from the front seal. I've been looking online and it looks like there's only oil seals for power steeing boxes (same thing?) and no rebuild kits available for power. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what parts I need exactly or if I'm better off dropping $500 for a whole new box?

Also: How can I tell if I have a constant or variable ratio installed? I've been looking at the PSC boxes. Are the remanufactured as good as the new ones?

x2 and if the seals are bad the rest isn't to good either. Get a rebuilt.

I have known people try to replace just the bad seal, specifically the Pittman shaft seal, just to have everything else fall apart after words. x3 on the re-man...

What are people getting for their money with the PSC rebuilds? No need to spend double the price if it's all the same stuff inside.

CJ I think you misread, I was saying the PSC rebuilds are twice as expensive as the one from O'Reilys. I was just wondering why it seems like they are talked about in all the other steering box threads as the way to go vs. the other options. If it will make for a better driving experience I'd consider spending the extra cash.
