My Jeep already has the 4" flush mount, taillights but one of them is cracked and got water in it, and after reading on here I really like the LED Look so I so I want to install some on my 77 CJ5 , but want to make sure I have everything right before hand,

So If I read everything right all I need are the LED lights and no resistors ?
and they should work with my front regular bulbs ?

The resistance provided by your front (incandecent) lights is more than enough to allow your current flashers/hazards to function correctly.

No resistors needed. Just make sure you wire them correctly.

LED's work with current going a certain way, and will not function if + and - are reversed.

If not clearly marked, figure out the proper wiring at the battery, and save some wiring headaches for yourself.

About 8 years ago I built a flat bed for my 76 ford hi-boy and used 4" LED's for Stop, Turn & Tail. Also recessed all clearence lights & used LED's.
I could light up all the lights with a 9v battery for testing and they work perfectly once I installed the bed on the truck. Good Luck:chug:
