That depends on what you want the jeep for and how much money you want to spend.
I have a superlift 4" on my CJ7 . It rides kinda ruff, it flexes ok, it's been on for 6 years now and hasn't saged to bad yet. For the money I'm happy, but I knew it was a cheaper kit when I put it on.

All the cheaper 4" lift springs are going to ride on the ruff side.
If your using you jeep mainly on the street, you might want to do a 2 1/2" lift. You will get a better ride, and with a 1" body lift, will clear 33" tires.
You also won't have some of the other steering and driveline isues that come with a 4" lift.
Just my 2 cents.
33x12.50x15 I would use a 15x8 wheel, if you plan on any offroading the 8 inch wheel will allow you to air down the tires a little more while holding the bead better. I can get you a pic of this combo if you want, thats what I run.

with the narrow trak axles you have, you will need to run a wheel with less backspacing, so you don't rub the front spring when turning.
Hopfully a nt guy will come by with the answer you need.
im getting ready to put a 4" lift in my 75 CJ5 , i have done a lot of research, mine is a every day drive and the once n while summer trail ride. cheap is ok but not always. with having the 76 u can put YJ lift kit under it. that is what im about to do. it will take a little bit of doing but will be totaly worth it when u go off road. if u want to stay simple go with a pro comp or skyjacker lift kit. u do not need to lift the jeep at all to fit a set of 33 uner it. mine sits stock and i put 33 12.5 15r toyo open country m/t. brand new yes they were stuffed but only rubbed when i maxed teh steering out. u could also just go with a spring over, just get new perches and weld them to the top off ur axel. change ur stock springs to the top and it will give u about 5" of total lift alowing u to fit up to 35's and it looks really good. just saw one today that was spring over and a 2.5" lift look damn good. needed astep to get in but looked good. from my experince stay away from rancho and rough country, one of the roughest rides u will find on a CJ5 . 4wd.com has a sale untill midnight tonight 3/14/11 on all lift kits a 4" pro comp will run u $517.99 plus tax and shipping if u have a store near u free shipping.
mostly street driven i would go with old man emu 2 1/2 inch lift kit and 1 inch body lift. great street manners and will flex well offroad. i dont know what offset the wheels should be as i am trying to figure that out for my self
