What a great sound :D
The battery was almost dead of course, but as soon as propane vapor hit the carb, it fired up immediately and ran without a single stumble.

Propane conversion: Best...mod...EVER!

Now it's time to replace the steering pump and box, change the oil, and tighten up a few odds and ends....the rocks are calling.:chug:

Right on Jim, 'BB's been on the road occasionally through the winter when the 'Easy Bake' panel van wasn't up to the snow and ice road conditions. Only a couple of minor breakdowns of electricals shaking loose on account of wahboard on the surface of the ice.

Great feeling isn't it.:chug:
I just woke mine up last week end, just to go beat it on some rocks. :)

Ironically, the only reason I fired it up was to air up a tire on one of our vehicles since my shop compressor is sick.

But hearing that rumble has really got me motivated to get it back out on the trail.

Mine has not been out of the shop since last September. I know I have been working on it but don't seem to have a lot to show for it. I have to get the rear fender project done so I can at least drive it to work now and then. have every intention of going to Arkansas for a couple days at the super lift park so I better get off my but and make things drivable.

BUT back to the topic. I think it is so cool that I get to fall in love all over again every time I can spend time driving my CJ.:D

Spring comes and people start firing up the old grill , CJim7 just does it a bit differently.

Lol...the comments are endless! When I tell people around here that my Jeep runs on propane, their first question is always "So...you can barbecue with it too than?"

I have an idea for an absolutely killer front bumper. With a rotisserie and side burner?

I could remove the winch cable and my winch could be the drive for the rotisserie
Hmmm...what about attaching some BBQ burners to the inside of the tail gate. When it's down all I gotta do is put a rack over it and viola....instant tail-gate barbecue!

I see you as being the hit of the campout and your Jeep could heat your tent at night I may need to look into doing this also.
