Has anyone used longer springs? I was thinking about an s10 truck as a donor. Will this help? I have YJ springs now, just looking for more flex without breaking the bank.

have you checked why you don't have enough flex yet? shocks bottoming out, fender clearances, too short brake lines, over-tight shackles...things like that limit flex and don't let the springs move.

Holbrook Specialties

These guys have a conversion for springs longer than YJ.
Little CJ has a point on the binding issues.;)

I'm not sure s10 springs would be as soft as yj springs, as they are designed to cary weight in the bed. But I do not know anyone who has done this. so it's only a thought.

Most people get pleanty of flex with the yj springs.

You could always have some custom ones built.

It's a budget thing with having some built. I'm handy with building so if I can find something that I can adapt................

Pull a leef or two out of the S10 spring pack and it should be fine.
