Bill D lead a group of us on Longwater Gulch On Friday August 11th
I really enjoyed the trail with all the hill climbs and a really good rock face we climbed.
In attendance was Bill D and Carol, Bass and Old Jeep Lady, Shooby and 007, me and Rad.

I didn't get any action shots so I hope others did and post them.

Longwater Gulch Thanks Bill D!

In the Longwater Gulch photos, you can see the dead trees standing. These are left-overs from the Hayman fire - one of Colorado's largest. It was set by a female Forest Service employee who was burning some of her X's letters in a campground fire ring and let it get away from her. She is now getting free room and board from the state.
Anyway, she sure made it a lot easier to see the beautiful scenery without all the trees getting in the way.

The West is a tinderbox this time of year either from a lightning strike or someone acting stupid
