I have owned Bestop cab cover and a Smitty Built.
I know your asking about full covers but I figured some info was better than none.
Bestop was the most water proof and held up for a decade. Straps and hardware sucked a little. Nicest but expensive.
The new Smitty Built says it's water resistant (not water proof) but so far no issues. For the price (way cheaper) I figure I can use seam sealer and water proofing ( for tents) if it becomes an issue.
I don't have to deal with the heat you do. The opposite is what I deal with. They both get pretty stiff at -40.
The hardware and straps on the Smitty Built are far superior.

My only complaint (because I'm fitting thier 2 door TJ version on a CJ) is that the back on the sloped version could have been an inch or two longer.

Fits. Just.
All around pretty damn good and I would buy it again.

Not sure how it would hold up in full sun all the time.

You can also consult with a local upholsterer and have it custom made though this can be expensive. Today’s products aren’t worth a damn, unfortunately.
