As one who has studied 'The Toyota Way' extensively, I have to say that may not be a bad thing...

Wow, never realized there is a business philosophy based on Toyota's success. Makes sense, they are conquering a market that was extremely biased against them. Sorry, last off topic comment!

That is not off topic at all! The Toyota Way is a very much discussed and implemented manufacturing and business strategy. Has been published for a while and is used extensively as a management and work training tool for many companies.

There are many lean concepts and strategies in use in the manufacturing field because of 'The Toyota Way.' Just as an example, something as simple as having steps in a process of manufacturing be the gauge and or the check for the step before it. Sounds simple but it is damn tough to implement. Toyota has been doing this for a long time...

Therein lies the best working example of their concepts, the Toyota company itself!
