This is what happens when you push a little too hard while prerunning in Baja. This Jeep broke a front differential miles from civilization. Luckily, a local farmer had a piece of water pipe he could part with. The fix was simply a matter of welding the pipe in place of the pumpkin. This unpublished photo was shot by John Thawley for Hot Rod magazine.
