MC 2100 excessive fuel problem

As some my remember, at one time this 87 YJ with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , ate my lunch for months. I finally got her running correctly. Now after being parked for 2 months, I went out and started her for a joy ride. After about 1 minute, I have fuel coming out both tubes in front of the ventris. I removed the cover and pulled the float. Float is fine and so is the needle. Any ideas what could be causing this excessive fuel problem?

well the float, needle, and seat are the only things that regulate the fuel coming into the carb, they may have been stuck. put it back together and leave the top plate off of the carb and start it up to see what its doing (the mc2100 will run with the top plate off)

(What I mean by tubes are the stacks-tubes that are on the top plate near the rear of the fuel bowl).

Took the top off the carb, gasket looks fine, and ran her. I have fuel squirting up around the needle. If I push down on the needle it stops until I let off the needle. The seat looks good. Is there supposed to be a gasket or something in the seat? If so, whatever is supposed to be there is missing. I only have the brass.

Can anyone tell me how this is supposed to work with my stock float? The seller, Mac's antique Auto parts can't.

the needle doesn't have a gasket between it and the seat, it is supposed to have fuel coming out of it when its running thats how gas gets to the carb. floats go down with the gas level as the motor uses it, therefore pulling up on the needle allowing more fuel into the bowl, when the bowl is full float rises pushing down on the needle, closing off fuel flow. it does this process so fast and precise you can't tell the fuel flow stops. that does not look like the needle and seat for a mc2100
