I have the 71 AMC 304 and the MC2100 1.08. I tore into the carb to clean and rebuild. Upon dis assembly I found that one of the venturi tubes is cracked the length of the tube. I have a few questions. Is it possible to clamp and solder the tube? Would a 1.21 venturi run with this set up. I have done some research and found that some people have run the 1.21 on the AMC 304 successfully. I have found replacement 1.21's but not the 1.08. So my third question is if anyone has the 1.08 venturi they would come off of? Thanks for the help in advance.

IF, the tube is brass. You can try to solder. Use 60/40 rosin core. ;)
You will need to drill the inside of the tube back out to the OEM, I.D.

Check with Mike, he has the 1.25 venturi he may also have the 1.08
A lot of ford cars have the 1.08 mc2100

I actually ordered the 1.21 from Mike. I spoke with the place that rebuilds the carbs for them and was told the 1.21 will fit. It will take some tuning, but at least its a 40 dollar part vs. a reman carb. I will post with results when I get it. Thanks for the suggestions.
