Mechanical to Power Steering

I am thinking about converting my 84 CJ8 from mechanical to power steering. I haven't done much work myself on my jeep, so I was wondering if anybody had any tips on this conversion for me. Also, if anybody can recommend some good brands and kits. Thanks for the help.

Couple thoughts.

1. PSC makes great products.

2. Member here by the name of mrblaine can hook you up if you want someone who KNOWS what they are doing. He is over in Quail Valley. Send him a PM if you want.

3. Yes you can use parts from other makes and models but I am not qualified to answer what you need. Just know that PSC and Blaine can set you up good.

Kits - Don't think you will find a kit that has all the parts you will need. X2 on PSC for a gearbox, but their prices on a stock gearbox has gone up a bit.
