On the MC2100/2150 which screw does what on the front of the carb
(air/fuel mixture screws)? both are out more than they should be, about
2 1/2-3 turns and seems to be running rich.

There are two screws, one for each barrel. They have to be adjusted simultaniously, and in conjunction with the idle adjustment screw.

2 1/2 turns out is the typical place to start your tweeking from. Having said that, I am also under the understanding that a MC2100/2150 (1.08 venturi size) on a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l should run between a 46-48 jet size. I'm running 51 jets, and the idle mixture screws are out probably 3ish turns, and it's actually running a little lean. From what I have read, and talked to others who have done this conversion, the MC2100/2150 can be a touch tricky to get tuned, and every person has a little different setup.

Okay, then you only need to look at pags 24-27, those are tuning.

I get it, I'm a Jeep owner and ad-block detectors kinda stink but ads are needed on this site. This is a CJ site, all the ads are set for autos (some times others get through.) I cannot make them just for Jeeps but I try.
