'84 CJ7 4.2L Mopar EFI, T5, D300, ('86)D44 rear, and too many spare parts to count.
Finishing up on a down to the frame restore and wanted to keep the mopar EFI computer in the cab vs. on the firewall of the engine compartment.
Any suggestions on where it will fit nicely?

Under the dash would be a good place. The oem computer location is as good as any, as it is already set up for it. That way you can run the wiring thru the hole where the oem wiring was and hook into ignition connections. I have mine under the dash in the center with a plastic bag to cover it. I don't have a heater so that clears up a lot of room.

The later CJs like mine had an OEM worthless feedback computer mounted on top of the heater core behind the glove box, that’s the location Torx is referring to

Tried that location and the old computer bracket doesn't fit. Going to have to modify it because I really like how it is tucked away up there. Thanks for confirming what I was thinking.

Took a break from the computer issue and added a slider bracket to the new passenger seat......now the new seat is too high. And my son tried to "help" me by putting the steering wheel on without tightening it down. Snap went the nice new horn tab that I put in a couple of weeks ago. To fix means that whole harness needs to be replaced again. Going to be a pro at steering column disassembly/reassembly.

The closer I get to finishing this thing, the more issues I find.

One day it will be on the road again...........
