Hello everyone
I have a Motorcraft 2100 1.08 carb that ran flawlessly in the past 12 years or so but 6 months ago the jeep started running rough having hard time keeping idle.
When i opened up the carb i have found that the notorious brass venturi hoses are cracked (both of them). I gave them to a freind to try and solder them up but it didnt went that well and didnt helped much.
Iv looked everywhere for a booster venturi to replace mine or just even the hoses - contacted various eBay rebuilt motorcrafts sellers and didnt found a solution other than buying a new one - wich is another problem for me, not being in the US and either way the carb is in excellent condition other than the cracked venturi hoses.

Does anyone have any lead where i can get venturi hoses or booster venturi - new or used?

Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

I've always understood that Fords are popular in Europe and other parts of the world. The Motorcraft 2100 and 2150 were used on many Ford products. I'd search around for a junk yard parts carb.

Now, I suppose the real question might be, why did the tubes split in your carb. I really don't know the answer. Just wondering if a hard back fire could create pressure enough to split those tubes. They are kind of in a place that shouldn't be getting much abuse. That is if they weren't somehow abused during a rebuild.
