I just did a frame swap last year. I went ahead and put new ones in. I figured I was there. Might as well. And some were mushed, some were fine. Went all new all the way around. I was advised against poly mounts with a fiberglass body due to the stuffer poly creating stress cracks. So I went with the rubber kit from 4wd hardware.

What size are your new ones, my old ones are 1 1/2 thick and 4"wide .I Looked at the poly ones and there not as wide as my old ones .

Mine came in a tube that was 2.5 inches wide and you cut the rubber to the height you wanted/needed. So I cut them to the height of the best old one I took off, which was 1.25" if I remember correctly, other than the taller ones in the back under the bed.

Having a Scrambler, I bought 2 kits as the kit is made for a 7. This is what I have left

Do you have a fiberglass tube?

What did you find was the best thing to cut them with?

Honestly, I just used my chop saw and made a fast cut. I was using a wood cutting blade and when I went slowly, it kind of chewed up the cut surface. So when I went faster, it went well.
