Looks like most of us are around late 30s to 50s. What kinda music gets you going? Mine will probably be too hard for you older guys. Im a heavy metal guy. Right now Dope , Disturbed and Slayer are high on my list. Always love (old) Metallica , Pantera, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Exodus , Savatage , King Diamond. I also enjoy classic rock and Classical. Rimsky Korsokav anyone ? :)

I flip flop most of the time. Of course I'm into classic rock (I am 46) but I can and do listen to just about anything. I can't do heavy grunge or death metal though. :( That just hurts my head.

I'll even do a little new country but I just can't get into that old super twangy stuff, except for JC! I can and do listen to his music when I get the urge.

I also keep some funk and blues on the music server and can even get into some classical...

I have a very eclectic music collection on my media server...

Wow your the anti-pete when it comes to music then. Im closed minded. Has to fit in my category (wihch is heavier) or it uh....stinks. lol Your 6 years older than me though so I can understand why you cant hang :D

I like just about everything, but not metal head banging stuff or rap. Classic rock, to classical, Jimmy Buffet (big fan) Blues, looooove the blues, I think my favorite is the late great Jeff Healey. :( Man, what a player...I even like bag pipes! Nickel back is about as far as I like to go with current rock,

:) I am so young... :) Thank you guys for being older than me!

I listen to anything. Almost. I dont do heavy heavy metal. I dont do that gangsta rap ****. And I dont know jazz. And Britney Spears doesnt ever ever ever get played in my house.

We do alot of karaoke. My Bubba sings "Pride and Joy," "Mountain Music," Copacabana" and " newer country and pop. I sing whatever I feel like...

Awww... (cant have any more kids anyway. The Dr took my oven.)

If I cant understand the lyrics, I cant sing along, therefore I dont listen to it.

Classic rock also...Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Pearl Jam. Some of the heavy metal stuff is pretty cool. I do like Jack Johnson's stuff too but thats only because I use to babysit the little rugrat.

i like any kind of rock. heavy, hard, classic, and country. love ac/dc and a bunch of outlaw country.

I'm a big rock and roll fan. The classics, Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers, Deep Purple, CCR. Or some of the newer bands Soundgarden, STP, ZZ Top. I am a huge Audioslave fan too. No rap, very little country (it's depressing) and most of the new rock is just :dung: too. I stick to older rock.

Country, then rock, then some of the older alternative

Music is the second form of communication next to the spoken word ........

I do all of them, kinda light in the country and western, but Buffet and that kind is good.

Some head banger, not to much on the grunt and scream stuff though.

CJ, is your media server accessible for downloads ? I am always looking for more music, (I have a hard drive full of it now), I have Filezilla or Flashget if you are willing to share ............

It depends on what mood that I am in to what I listen to. My kids friends are surprised that I listen to a lot of the things that they do. Only thing that is not allowed in the house is rap in less it is beastie boys. I grew up on them, Dad hated it so I listened to it.

Korn, Rage Against the Machine, any angry white man music works;)

Alright!! Finally :punk:. I was beginning to think I was the only one.
Korn, Rage Against the Machine, any angry white man music works;)

Jimi Hendrix, <-BAD WORD-> Dale (i'll lol if anyone know him) , slayer, metal church, emigrate, rammstein, GnR (old and new), pantera, most hair bands, 50's, 60's, 80's, 90's, country, classical, blues, some pop/hip hop, mostly it depends on if it has a good beat, if it sounds like a racket i'm not into it.

Well I don't do heavy metal, so I guess I am safe from bearing your children too!:p
I live north of the Mason Dixon line, so I am a little bit of an oddball in my area. I listen primarily to country. Keep in mind I am 29. When I was a teenager, I listened to everything from guns&roses to ganster rap. I was a wierd little white kid from the middle class hood!:D
