Last week I had lunch with Jim Press the Vice-Chairman and President of Chysler, and before I went I asked you want you would like me to ask him.

The majority of your questions revolved around diesel jeeps, jeep pick up trucks and a smaller more efficient jeep wrangler. as well as some question about hybrids. When I had a chance ask if these were in the works he explained that Chryler still has small diesel technology through it's partnership with daimler, and if the possible merger/collaberation with Fiat goes through then there may be products based on Fiats small diesel platforms. Plus there is a hybrid coming soon for the half ton truck as well as a major push for electric vehicles from Chrysler. Let's hope these small diesels, hybrids and electric 4x4's don't forget the true off road ability that we all want, or we might see a bigger rise in rock buggy building as guys simply build their own vehicles the way they want them.

How did you get a lunch with the president of chrysler, and more importantly, which one in the picture is you. I have posted with and IM'ed you, but have no idea what you look like.

To be as tactful as I can... This was posted automatically by an RSS feed. LOL - If it has a link at the bottom of the post to another site the post was made by a robot... I think I'm gonna have to change the robots name to something unique and tell it to stop posting under my name...

BTW - I hope this isn't embarrassing you at all, but I am laughing damn hard right now! I just don't have that kind of pull to get an audience with the Pres of Chrysler (yet).

So, any ideas for a robot name? I think I need to create him! How about 'Forum News Feeder'?

That's funny! I can dissassemble a vehicle and reassemble it with my eyes closed, but computers are jibberish to me. I know enough to use them and fix minor problems, but am not up on rss feeds and things of such nature. Don't worry about embarassing me, I can give it and take it. I think you should call him "the jerk that tricked projectcrawler"
