This isn't really a trail report but me and a couple club members went to a clean-up today and along with about 40 other people and picked up 160 big trash bags of garbage.
Now for the good part. We have been going to these clean-ups for the last 6 years or so. Today we met up with the sheriff, mayor, rescue team, and a couple city consul members who turned us on to a land owner that owns 8000 acres. He has agreed to let our club ride on his property that already has a lot of trails on it but has been closed off to the public for a few years now. Lots of good rock in the area. Sometime there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.:)

We'll be going down there for a ride later this summer so say tuned.

I have participated in "Cleanups" in the past and it really can help to get involved in something like that. Public lands do have to be maintained, especially when others leave their trash behind. It also helps to get in good with the people who have control over these lands, the higher up the better. Sounds like your group made good on that deal.
