NC YJ
910 REP
Vehicle: 87 jeep yj
Owner: alan lehue wilmington nc
Tires & Wheels: stock rims/31x10.50 prime well mud terrains
Suspension: 2.5" rubicon express lift
Drivetrain: BA-10 Transmission , np 231 Transfer Case , Dana 30 in the front and dana35 in the rear with stock 3.07 gears
Performance: nothing yet, im about to upgrade my rockers and lifters.
Other mods: 2" body lift that was put on by the guy i bought it from. it helps with articulation.
Does it work the way you want?: yes it does, its my daily driver and i dont push it too hard.
Anything you would change? ill be getting 4.10's installed this holiday season as a gift to myself and i really want an electric winch because using my hilift jack and recover straps to pull it out of a whole is hard work.
Funniest Wheeling Incident: i was on a local trail near my college in PA about a year ago and was peddling up a slippery, rocky hill and managed to dent my fender and hood on a downed tree that had been cut out of the trail. funny thing was i never noticed it until the next day.
Anything to add?: yeah why the hell did jeep use the BA10 on the early yj's? finding parts is impossible look like ill be changing that out too when i finish college.
