Hello,

Can you guys with a 4.5" lift and 33"s take a measurement to the top of your windshield frame? I'm looking to rent a garange and need to make sure i have clearance post lift kit.

I have a 4" lift with a 1" body lift. Mine is 75" to the top of the windshield frame. My roll bar is higher than the windshield, it's app. 78".
Mine will JUST fit in our 7' garage door due to the fact that the door doesn't open the whole 7'.

Thanks for the info,

My 3" lifted liberty on 31's is 82 inches to the top of the light bar and fits into this garage with about 2" to spare, so i should be good with the CJ after i get the lift on it

Go Airbags! Then you can lower it for garage parking! :poke:

Just kidding!

I guess worst case if too tall, you can always "ratchet strap" so pressure on your suspension while pulling into the garage... though I wouldn't want to leave it strapped for long periods in time in case it "stayed" that way (like the dont cross your eyes or they'll stick like that saying) and first time you opened garage door without remembering to ratchet down...

It would be too much effort... lol Hope it will fit for you!

I think it would be easier to air down your tires but then you would need to have air to air them back up when you pull it out.

I've got a buddy with a scrambler that does that.:D

It just makes sense to go with an onboard compressor and a central tire inflation system.... Well to me it does.

Always forget about the tire trick... Seen a episode of "stuck" where big rig was stuck under the overpass wedged in, no one could figure out how they were going to get him out, and old guy walks up and says let the air out of the tires...

;)
