Hi, when I turn to the right the turning radius is not complete and I don't hit the stopper. The other way no problems. I changed the steering box still the same. I have what look like a 4 in lift, I bought it like that. The pitman arm looks like it was changed because it's not flat like the factory one. Could that be that my connecting rod is too small and do they make them longer? Or is there different drop pitman arm? it is a bit dangerous driving with an half radius. What is the longer of your pitman arm for the ones who have about 4 inch of lift? I measured, changed and look at everything my knowledge allowed me now I need help.

Most drop pitman arms are not made as long as the stock one. I have no idea why. The way many people fix the problem is by getting a kit to flip your tie-rod and draglink and than use the stock arm. I also have a buddy that used a tj arm with some luck.
As for why it will turn farther one way than the other is most likely the PO put the lift on and his steering wheel was out of center so he took the steering wheel off and put it back on centered instead of centering it with the draglink. the fix would be to disconect the draglink and count how many turns of the wheel it takes to go lock to lock, and go back half of that and than take the wheel off and reinstal it centered.

Old Dog, I took the jeep apart to nothing, changed to steering box, took the column apart while stripping the jeep apart but I think your guess about centering the steering is an easy thing to try to be on a safe side.
