Brief rundown- I'm installing a fiber tub on 86 cj. Don't have orig cj booster, MC, or prop valve. I bought a wrangler booster setup. I already installed new stainless CJ lines routed and hooked up at wheels. Here's where I kinda don't know what direction to go. The 86's had the prop valve on the frame and wrangler booster I bought has it directly under the MC

Will it be easier to install CJ prop valve so my new lines hookup directly, then run lines up from there directly to the MC eliminating the wrangler prop valve altogether. If so, does anyone predict functionality issues using a wrangler booster and MC with a CJ prop vavle? My other option would be to retain the wrangler prop and make lines that go down to the cj lines

Don't panic. you can buy couplers for the pre exising CJ lines and build yourself some adapter lines to the yj block. You will need a tube bender and flare tool. Its pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Good luck

:)Keep this in mind........The Folks at Jeep spent a lot of time engineering that brake system to work correctly........

Your biggest problem does not revolve around placement of the Proportioning valve as there is much more to swaping in the correct parts to your system.

Whereby the Wrangler Master cylinder piston size and proportioning valve were matched to the brake system that was on the donar vehicle.........
So if the Wrangler had Disc's in the front and drums in the back.........that should be closely matched with whatever your now going to use on this CJ...........
The bore sizes of any calipers and or drum brake cylinders also need to be matched to the Master Cylinder to allow for the correct amount of volume / fluid to be pushed into either Calipers or Drums...

The correct Proportioning valve can be mounted anywhere.

Get the picture?
