Hello all, I am rebuilding my tilt steering column and need a column housing. This is the part that holds the upper and lower column bearings and is peculiar to the tilt column. Wondering if anyone knows where I can find one. This part was made by GM and was used on Regal, Monte Carlo, etc, so you would think they would be easy to find. Seems there were small differences that make them incompatible but not sure.

HELP! Trying to avoid buying a whole new column.

They are hard but not impossible to find. I know when I was rebuilding my jeep I had a 91 gmc jimmy that I'm sure the column would fit. In fact they both take the same grant wheel adaptor

You may be time, money and aggravation ahead by just finding a GM tilt column and replace the entire column. If you go with a later model you get the advantage of the multi function stalk.

I did check with J&W. Great resource. Decided to purchase rebuilt column. Thanks
