I would like to replace or at least do a major servicing on my '74 CJ5 brakes. Any suggestions on websites and particular companies to order from? Thanks:)

Some here are pretty good at buying straight tube, fittings, and a flaring tool. I have run a lot of SS tubing for hooking up chemical pumps and controls and I am pretty adept at bending and getting it right. Never used a flaring tool and from what I have read this needs to be done correctly or it will leak. I despise leaks of any sort. (Why buy a CJ you might ask. I'm a glutten for punishment would be my answer!)

I purchased my complete set of lines with new clips and flex lines from Inline Tube. Have ALL your vehicle info at hand and give them a call. They have a website, but I would suggest giving them a call. If you order a wrong part and its your fault, you have to pay restocking fees. They sent me the wrong part, twice, and it was all on them for shipping and they told me to keep the extra stuff. REALLY nice folks to deal with. My $.02.:chug:

Thanks for the info. I am more worried about the actual brake assembly. Drums, shoes etc...

I got all of my stuff like that locally. It was easier and most of the time cheaper. I don't mind house brands and a fella I went to high school with bought his dads parts store a few years ago. They know what brands work well and that's what they sell. Hard to talk to your neighbor after you sold him crappy parts!
