New CJ owner how to Identify which jeep I have

is there a code in the VIN # that can tell me which CJ I have?
or another way to ident? according to all I;ve researched its a CJ5 or 7, 1978 V-8 (AMC 304 ) 3 speed Transmission

It's really rather easy to tell... The door opening are completely different is the easiest visual clue...
