Auburn Gear Inc. introduces the Dana Super 44 ECTED MAX selectable locking with 35 teeth axle shaft splines in a 4-pinion design. Part number 545021 will fit 2007 to present Jeep JK Rubicon, all ratios. The case trunnions are larger to accommodate the 35-spline axle shaft; this unit requires new differential bearings part number (JLM704649 cone & JLM704610 cup)
An upgrade in axle shaft is required, Auburn suggest upgrading to chrom-moly aftermarket axle shafts.
This new performance differential is selectable via a dash or console mounted switch. When selected “off” the differential performs like a Limited slip differential for street performance. When selected “on” the electrical differential becomes a full locked differential or spool for off road use. Auburn Lockers are also available
for Dana model 30, 35 & 44, Ford 8.8”, GM 10 & 12 bolt, AMC20
