New past time with my daughter

My inlaws have a firing range on their land. We were out shooting yesterday and my 8 year old daughter came out and said I want to try. So I put one round in my .22 rifle and she fired it and loved it. Now she keeps bugging me to go out shooting lol.

I taught both my boys to shoot at a very young age. As a firearms instructor, I find that women make better students and learn faster and in many cases become much better shooters. While she has the interest I say get her to the range as much as you can. Plus great father and daughter time.

We went out again today she had a blast. I was reloading and didn't have my gun straight up just at a slight angle and she yelled at me to get it straight up lol she's learning quick.

Several years ago when my boys were still at home, we bought muzzle-loader kits and we spent the winter months putting them together. I made a pistol they made rifles. Great times. Family get-to-gathers aren't complete without a round of skeet shooting.
