Just bought an 83’ CJ7 . Wanted one for years and came a cross a nice project. The entire project is done except the brakes and suspension and steering. I am a
Having some issues with the rear axle not sitting flush on the new leafs with a 4” lift. Any ideas how to remedy this would be awesome. The next question is after I installed the new pitman I had to adjust the linkage to mate it. Now I lost significant steering to the right but left is fine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure on the axle- some pic might be helpful.
Sounds you clocked the pitman arm off a few teeth. There’s a good right up in the technical threads alignment and setting your steering up.

Ok. I can upload pictures of the axles later tonight. I will look in the technical treads for the steering issue. Thanks

Steering is definitely not centered

I wonder if the springs have to much arch?
