Looks like it would remove the reason I have the Jeep, wheeling. Seems it would upset the clearance in the rear, along with a lot of weight on the rear.

That and I don't think I would want to drive at all with a 36" TSL hanging off the side/rear of my rig.

It folds up when not in use. Agreed not for a rear mounted swing out tire carrier under power.

But with no back seat and the tent cover it would be cool for camping. Look at the links on the web site for sizes and pictures of it in a stationery "camping" position.

It is a neat concept, will agree on that. But for the money vs. the amount of use I would get out of it, rather build a trailer like yours.

That and the fact I have the tow rig, which can haul anything else I may need.

I towed a small trailer a few times with my CJ and it was scary...just because of the tongue weight causing front end wander and what amounted to death wobble. I can see hanging something heavy that far out the back causing the same scenario.

However.....If I was heading up on a camping trip, that would be awesome to set up the air mattress on for sleeping.
