NP435 Rebuild

I got my NP435 rebuilt this weekend. Only issue I had was getting the input shaft endplay set. It calls for between .005 and .012. I has three retainer gaskets to choose from. I tried all three seperate and couldn't get any endplay. Only when I used all three, I wound up at .007. Is using three gaskets necessary some times? I mean this Transmission was pretty tight but turnes fine. Went into gears fine. It got new input shaft bearings. I used the space on the output shaft also. But could the output shaft bearing be on to far? It's up against the step on the output shaft. Looking for feedback.

Got me a dial indicator and mount. Took me awhile but I think I got it set correctly. We'll fins out in a month or so when it's installed.
