Work is going to be kind of slow on this, as I have to deal with the weather, and, until I get my replacement frame, I can't really do too much. I am going to be building up this 1982 CJ7 with the axles from an old US Army m1009 truck, along with the 6.2 Diesel, T400 Transmission , and probably the Dana 300 X-case that came out of the Jeep. It will all be piled on some 385/65/20 tires that are left overs from my 5 ton Kaiser. Hopefully, this won't be a long-term build.

Sounds like this will be an interesting one for us spectators to watch !

Thanks all. I have been slowly working on getting my new-to-the-Jeep frame ready to get fresh hard lines for the brakes and fuel systems installed, while I am waiting for my FWA swap parts to show up.I also grabbed 2 Hydro-boosters from the local wrecking yard over the weekend, found a complete 6 point rollcage, tube doors, rock rails and a *really* nice dashboard from a Laredo edition (clock AND Tach ) that was rusted down pretty badly. I will get some pictures up in the next couple of days, hopefully.

Some of them photos look suspiciously familiar..........

Kinda like I've saw one or two about a year ago..........
