Oil leak 67 cj5 v-6 225 motor

Hi to everyone .I just joined this great site and I have a question ? I have an oil leak in 1967 CJ5 V-6 225 MOTOR and it leaks almost all of the oil out of the motor with a constant drip which appears to be at back of motor. The motor drips sitting or running .Any help would be appreciated.

Hi borob, and welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about the Jeep trouble, and I'm afraid it sounds like the rear main seal has let go on you. Is the leak coming from higher up on the back of the engine, or kind of under the back side of it?

Hi borob, and welcome to the site. X2 on what coldwater said, sounds an aweful lot like a rear main seal.
