Old Jeeps Reunion

There wasn't a CJ in sight, but three old jeeps got together last week. Fifty years ago, the three of us were stationed on a remote Aleutian island for what seemed like forever, but was in reality 12 months. "Jeep" was the tag put on any one with orders and less than thirty days left to go. We had the unusual experience of serving our entire four year enlistment together, from basic training through tech schools, the Aleutian experience, and back to the same base in the ZI. We had last seen each other about 30 years ago, and then lost contact. Somehow, through the wonders of the internet, we were able to get back together and plan this little reunion. Old farts and old friends, we had a great time. Beep Beep.
