OK I have convinced the wife into letting me spend some of our hard earned money on a lift kit. I have been looking at this for awhile now and the best I can find is this

http://www.rocky-road.com/cjome.html

I have read the reviews, and the problem I have had is no one on any of the forums I am part of has not actually used them. To me it seems this deal can't be beat, since it includes just about everything you need to perform a proper lift on a Jeep. All of the other places I have checked seem to not include the brake line extenders, the Transfer Case drop, and the heavy duty shackles.

Am I crazy for thinking about using them? Or is there another place who sells this exact same kit for about the same price. What are your thoughts?

I have only heard bad things about them but have no first hand knowledge. Another place you might want to look at is ok4wd.com They offer a Rock Granite conversion kit that was highly recommended to me from TR at ARB, who is the U.S. distributor of OME products.
I choose to piece my kit together since the kit has some parts I don't need and doesn't have others. I bought the springs and bushings thru Qtec. for $98 ea and $22 ea., respectively. I got the skids, sleeves, and greasable bolts thru okay 4wd though.

I used them for my OME YJ spring conversion, and had no issue's with the product or price. Shipping isnt their strong suit, I was missing a big hand full of bolts because they didn't put them into sealed bags and Mr UPS driver(s) all along the box's journey must have used the box as a soccer ball. Rocky Road made it right though and over nighted what was missing. Be aware that U-bolts Don't come with the standard kit, when I called about them they told me that U-bolts are an option since most folks can find them cheaper locally, BS but I wasnt going to argue. I also decided to buy 1 piece extended brake hoses since RR's is an extender hose that you add on to your factory hose . All in all I would deal with them again, and the product itself is good. HTH
