The Jeep was totally gone thru, 124k original miles on body,
New Crate engine and Trans, Weber Carb, Interior replaced back to stock, Dana 44 Rear, Dana 35 Front, 2.5 " Suspension Lift 1" body 33-12.50 Tires on Mickey Thompson Wheels, New Dupont Paint
I have a 2.5 in lift on my CJ right now, its an 86 if that matters, and I was reading about OME having a kit that allows you to use the wider YJ style leaf springs for better on-road handling etc,
I plan on installing some aftermarket sway bars also.
Does anyone know anything about this OME kit or advice for better onroad handling etc.
I had wanted a CJ for a long time but it had been a long time since i was riding in one much and realized real quick how much better a TJ handled on the road
Im not going to be wheeling this CJ into anything rough so if the kit limits some of the off road capabilities I could live with that.
From what I was told the OME conversion kit was stock height, so would I need a YJ OME lift to go with the conversion kit. The conversion kit may give you options, i havent looked into it too much as I wanted to know if it was going to help at all first
