So I've spoken with both OK4WD and BDS and with my military discount I can get the BDS shipped for $1000 and the OME from OK4WD for $1450 shipped. BDS is free to ship to a local dealer.

Is the OME kit worth the extra $450 for their setup? Is the ride that much better over the BDS?

Depends on the kit. Is the BDS kit for a Jeep setup or for a conversion to a Wrangler setup? Because the OME kit IS a conversion kit, which requires more parts and probably has the shocks included as well. You have to compare everything included. That said, it's a moot point now, however both are good choices.

Well I see two things that could be some of the price difference. I'm sure the better quality shocks are a big chunk of it too. The Rock Granite kit from OK4WD comes with skid type spring plates and also greasable spring bolts.
I'm not sure if any silicone grease is included so get yourself some of that for assembly. Regular grease doesn't work with polyurethane bushings.

There she is. I wanted to see what they folks at 4WD Specialies in Corpus would charge to install. I paid $1100 for the kit and then wanted to charge $800. I laughed and walked out. Guess I'll install it when I can.
