Our new Addition
Its been a few months now since our Yellow Lab Simba passed away. We all still miss him dearly and his name still comes up frequently. That being said Im a dog guy , and a dog guy without a dog is incomplete. Its alot like a Jeep guy without a Jeep actually. Well after talking it over with the family we decided to start the search for a new dog.
We've been looking around for a few weeks when Vicki sends me a link to a Craigslist ad saying "Its so cute". Im thinking shes searched the wrong breed of dog cause what Im looking for isnt usually labeled "Cute". Im not the lap dog type , I like large breed dogs myself. I click the ad anyway and what I see isnt cute , its down right adorable. I was looking for a St. Bernard. What she found was a St. Bernard / Bull Mastiff or a St. Bernastiff as they called it. A lap dog no. Not even a large breed dog as these fit into the giant breed category. Below is the Craigslist ad pic and then in the backseat of the car.
When we got there I was dead set on grabbing the last male of the litter. Then the female that was the one pictured in the ad came out and well that was that. Im more than a decade removed from having a puppy and boy can she be a handful. Actually shes already a whole chest full at 7 weeks old. As a result my time is a bit more Limited . I took a few days off to get her acclimated to the new surroundings and its taken several attempts just to read over the site and post this thread. Shes napping now. Hopefully we can all agree on a name soon so I can stop calling her she.![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
