Most of my Texas partners will know what this is and that it happens on the 25-27 of April. For anyone that does not know it is kind of like an all day walk through a classic junk yard with the odd hot rod/custom/restored classic side shows mixed in. A little bit of Jeep stuff buried in the piles along with dealers of switches, connectors, wire, tires, rims, seats, tools, wax and polish,t shirts motorcycle parts and accessories and lots of interesting people. This is an all day trip, at the Texas motor speedway in Fort Worth, admission is free with $5 parking. bring snacks as the catering possibilities are kind of sad.

4 hour plane trip, I can pick you up at DFW airport.:D

I can't find a town called Central any place on my map of Maine. Is it kind of like the town of West Texas, which in fact, is in East Texas??

Yup. Preety much. Actualy it's more like west central Maine. A little town called Embden. On the edge of Maines forest lands with miles and miles of forestry roads and old jeep trails.
As far as the plane trip, I'm afraid that the cost will take away from buying more jeep parts but thanks for the offer anyway.

I would think you could find some Granite to climb some place close.:D

I will be taking pictures of what ever is interesting at the swap meet and post them some place convenient.

In return I would ask that the next time you are in Augusta you could have a Pizza at Damions and/or the next time you are in Bangor you could have a sandwich at "the coffepot" I would be grateful. I can only assume these places are still in business. Oh yea, and a Labrees chocolate donut, I would almost kill for one of those.

I have to remember that every thing is a trade off and you probably can't find a decent Chilli Rellenos to save your life. :D

I love the Labrees pastries. Not sure about the others. I don't get to the city very often. And a chilli what? Never heard of it.
Post up the pics when you can. I love swap meets.

I’m planning to head out to the swap meet tomorrow with my brother… I may just find something I just can’t live without in all of the junk out there. Figure most of my time will be spent looking through the car corral though.

You make it out there yet IO?

Caveman: pronounced re ya no mild hot pepper stuffed with meat and cheese, 2 Ls sounds like Y. It is a good thing. I would trade you one for a 1/2 doz donuts but I don't think the pepper would travel well.

Tony, going out tomorrow with my Daughter. Same deal, looking for something I can't live with out. check your PM for my cell number. maybe we can shake hands sometime tomorrow.

Larry

In regards to the chili rellenos, don’t forget the egg batter on those rellenos… so fluffy and tasty. A stuffed pepper would probably travel alright frozen but the egg has to be fresh.

Sounds good, I’m planning on picking him up over in HEB and heading that way by 10:00. :chug:
