Hi everyone! New to the forum but had a few questions I can't seem to find answers to. Have a stock 1978 CJ5 , just put 4" lift springs and 2" shackles under all four corners. I am waiting on a TRE flip kit to come in from Goferit, and a Transfer Case lowering kit to straighten out the driveline. However I have no idea what shocks I should run...any ideas? Also anything else that I might need to do with this "kit"? Thanks in advanced!

what springs did you end up with? are they a rough ride (AKA rough county) or a softer design?
WHen you get it all mounted up, then measure the distance between the mounts and geta on any of the shock manufacturer's sites and go thru the charts. that will give you the correct height shock for you application.

Went out and found a partial tag on one, they are superlift springs. Thanks for the info on what to measure, any shocks to suggest?

I have almost the exact same lift as you. 4" Skyjackers (softride) and 2" shackle lift. The shocks that came with my kit (installed by the PO) are Skyjacker Nitro 7000. They are about 21.5" eye to eye with no body or drivetrain on the chassis.
