I am trying to find a replacement boot for the back of my power brake unit. I have checked QuadraTrac (and some other parts websites) and they don't list one. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Mine was rotted away. I wasn't able to locate a replacement without buying a whole new booster. I've just been running without it all this time and no problems and no detectable vaccum leak from it. I think it's just a dust shield, but I'm sure someone on this forum might want to come along and correct me. :)

I plan to upgrade to a wrangler dual diaphram booster anyway when I can find one.

If its the seal Im picturing in my mind, its never been available as a service part, only as part of the booster itself.

Chodette, there is a OEM parts catalog in the "Doc" section under CJ7 , its a PDF you have to down load, if you want to be sure, you can go have a look, I think brakes is group 8, C-12, and your jeep is an "80" series as far as the catalog is concerned. If you dont see a "group" number (8.1xxx-x) with a line pointing to the part, then it was never serviced individually and is part of the booster.

Thanks Busted! I have the TSM and it shows it just as part of the unit. I think I will just take it to the parts store and see if I can get something close and make due for now. I think Rescue is right that it is pretty much just to help with dust...I think I can make something work.

i also need this part for my restore ,i am sure many others here would like this part please keep us informed on your success.:)
