So i got a used power steering pump and bracket off another jeep without thinking how i would get the belt on. Now that i have everything on im not sure how in the world im going to get the belt on the pully...i have attached som e pictures to show my problem. Please let me know if anything can be done or if i need to purchase a new bracket (which i dont want to do). The alternator has an tentioner but i dont think the belt will go around all the pullys. Looks like the power steering pully and alternator pully are a little higher then the camshaft. Thanks ahead of time. :chug:

If the pullies line up, then just fish the belt around the fan blades, a couple blades at a time. The adjusters for the belt tension are on the back of the pump.

I have two belts on mine. The one closes the motor runs the power steering pump and the one closes to the radiator runs the alternator. you may have to shim your alternator forward to line up with the forward slots or use the small pulley on your power steering pump. If you try to make one belt turn everything I don't think you will have enough belt on the pulleys surface to work.:)

My rear belt goes around the power steering pump the water pump and the crank pulley.

The front belt goes around the alternator the water pump and the crank pulley.

hope that helps
