I have a bad leak out the bottom pitman shaft seal on the power steering box pitman arm shaft, can you replace just the seal? Is it pretty easy? First post thanks
 
Chances are if it's leaking the bushing is worn as well. Check out the junkyards for 80s GM boxes. Take yours in to compare. They usually aren't to expensive.

:)Those were Saginaw gear boxes and had a bearing at the sector shaft in the housing. The box would need to be completely disassembled to change either the seal or bearing. No good way of getting up there to pull or install with the sector shaft in the way..............Do you have a steering brace on the sector shaft housing? Could be that housing is cracked due to strain normally caused by over sized tires.
