Converting to power steering and have all the parts necessary. At first glance late last night, the 2 inlets on the gear box look to be the same size. Which is for the return hose and which is for the pressure hose?

Fenco gear box, came with a green cap on one inlet and a red cap on the other. both the pressure and return lines seem to have the same size thread as well. I assume red is for pressure and green is return but wanted to check.

Thanks!

forward most is the pressure port on my saginaw

Sasquach is right but I don't think you can get them wrong. I thought they have different size fittings.

called Fenco and they said the same thing - forward most port is pressure. Thanks!

They are probably different sizes but they are very close and I wanted to ensure I didn't cross thread by trying the wrong hose in the wrong inlet. At quick glance they look to be the same size.

The upper is the high pressure side with the steering box mounted. I just converted my CJ5 to power steering (those 33s were a bear to turn sitting still). Does anyone know what thread size is on the high side from the pump and the High/Low sizes are different. I would like to send some photos of a revived 1979 CJ5 that has not moved in five years.....Don Barnes
