Diamond plate dash. Ordered a black dash that ended up diamond. I was excited to get it together so kept it. Every light, gauge and knob doesn't fit. I ground everything down and installed and the pull knobs won't click in I just kinda spun em in to lock them. What's the deal, anyone have this problem with a flat dash?

I am having a problem with my light switch not tightening up on my aluminum dash, it is because all of your parts are built to accommodate a thin steel dash not a thick aluminum dash

I had similar problem. I stuck a nut behind the dash and cranked it down with a screwdriver in the proprietary lock ring on the outside.

A piloted counterbore bit can be used to spot face the hole on the front or rear. Best to use a drill press with a depth stop.

It's just thicker than the stock sheet metal.
