my question is, does anyone know where i can get a fuel guage for in dash mounting for propane? i am thinking of converting my cj to run on propane but i dont know how i can keep an eye on my fuel level since the guage is mounted on the tank and the tank is going behind my seat, so i am alittle stuck???

Fuel gauge? You've already got a fuel gauge. You can reuse the oem jeep gauge. The sending unit is a different story. The propane is under pressure and although I know you can get a sending unit that will work I don't have any specifics. Google it or check out this link:WPS:LPG
Here is what they say:
Last but not least -- the fuel gauge. You can use your existing in-dash fuel gauge. There is a wide range of tank sender units to fit most cars, that connect to the original wiring and work in the usual manner. A 90-Ohm unit fits most cars.

And what do you think the chances are that the jeep is a 90 ohm??
I am betting they are not real good.

do you know if they make a sending unit for a forklift propane tank since that is what i will be using for lack of room in my CJ5 . thanks for the link to the autometer guage. I will probably use that one since it is new and my old one works on and off sometimes anyway.
