1959 CJ5 Rebuild 74 Buick 231V6 oddfire T14 D20 D30 D44 frame boxed roller engine ready,
1967 CJ5 V6 225 T86aa D18 D27 D44 runs needs work,
1954 CJ3B F4-134 T90A D18 D25 D44 Half Cab needs tub,
I posted a question in misc and got no response so I am hoping that I just posted it in the wrong place.

Our engine is a 75 Buick 231 V6 oddfire, but the water pump on it is way too long and the shaft goes past the radiator....forget the fan.. We plan on electric fans maybe even mounted in front (push?) of the radiator. That's how tight our space is up front.

We also have a stock 67 CJ5 w 225V6 that we hope to restore someday and comparing the water pumps it appears this model will work for us. We are installing PS, so we need both the crank and water pump pulleys that will work for that.

My question is:
Are we stuck trying to find V6 225 Dauntless Buick 225 V6 pulleys? Or is there some other vehicle/engine where we can look for the pulleys. I am to the point of robbing parts off our 67, but it is a single groove crank pulley. I think I have seen pics of them in a double groove.

I thought I saw some pics of this in another members question on power steering upgrades that show V6 225 double groove crank pulleys.....but I cannot find info on pulleys...Maybe it's there and I just cannot find it....

Any help on where to find a double groove crank pulley for a 225 V6 would be appreciated. Thanks!

:)You could change to a later grill mid 70's and that mounts the radiator farther forward.......I'm surprised that your having so much issue......With the Buick distributor mounted up front normally you can mount that V6 back far enough that you have no issues for fit up front.....you do have to put a little bump in the left side firewall corner to the left of the gas pedal so that the left head valve cover will come off.......Is your motor offset 1" +/- to the drivers side?
The pulleys from the 231 motors and the 225 motors will interchange.....also the 350 V8 motors used the same pulley's a double bottom for the crank when power steering is used.........
The key is what power steering pump and mounts are you using?.........If they are stock Buick from the mid 70's and newer all the pulleys will line up.

I'll send you a PM with my direct e-mail and I'll see if we can help you sort that out.
